Brass Shower Head

When you think of a perfect shower head that is moderate in price but very durable and easy to operate; brass shower heads should be your choice. All shower heads need to be maintained properly but it is very sad that a visit to many bathrooms will give you a different result. Brass shower heads are beautiful when kept very well but can be very hazardous to your health when in bad condition. There are many ways to maintain and keep your brass shower heads clean and that is if you value your health.

All shower heads no matter what kind of materials they are made from can become blocked by mineral deposits that hard water contains. The shower head rips water out in diverse directions, instead of spraying when it becomes blocked but the damage can get as worse as seeing only drops of water from your shower and this is where you should know the damage is very serious. You might be asking yourself “what should I do? Why is this happening to me? Why did I buy this type of shower head?” or might even blame the company that sold it for you by saying “they have sold you fake stuff”. Yes, you might think about all these options but all you have to know is that, when you see the above signs; it is time to clean your brass shower head.

Removing shower head is the first thing you must do in this process. Later, heat some vinegar and pour it into a container then put the shower head into the vinegar and let it soak for about twelve hours. After those hours, check the shower head and thrust out stubborn holes that are still blocked even after being placed into vinegar for those long hours; using a thin wire. Rinse shower head with hot water so many times after using vinegar and a thin wire to remove the blocks.

After doing that place head back and clean with vinegar to remove all other mineral deposits on the brass shower head. Remember to check your shower head during the cleaning process and also from time to time to make sure that the parts your brass shower head doesn’t have any rusts because if they do, you will need urgent replacement. Cleaning a brass shower head is not very difficult and also less expensive.
